Whey Low & Sugar Sub. I had a question about 2 sugar sub. products - whey low and xylo sweet. For those not familiar these are sugar. sub. but unlike splenda they do have calories. Both have 65% less calories then sugar and both are 70-80% lower on the glycemic index then sugar (Xylo-Sweet has an index of 7!)
I honestly cannot do stevia, splenda, sweet and low, etc. they give me horrible upset stomachs, plus i don't like the taste. If i do these sparingly, 2 tsp. a day is this ok on south beach since the glycemic index is so low? |
