| Hi All! Okay, so I saw a recipe that Allison posted back in February for Belgium Waffles and it sounded good...I didn't have a waffle iron the first time I made the recipe, so I used a griddle and it came out like a flat pancake...very good!!! So I decided to go out and buy a small waffle iron, which I could also use for my kids, because I thought this was a recipe that I would make frequently enough. So I'm all excited this morning to make my waffles and what happens? The batter just stuck to the iron and latched on! There was NO WAFFLE!!!! I was so disappointed! What did I do wrong? I followed the recipe? The only thing I didn't do was spray pam on the iron (I made regular waffles for my kids yesterday and used pam and there's cam out fantastic)...maybe that's where I went wrong? Because it's a non-stick iron I thought I would try it without the pam. I don't know, but this waffle did not fluff up AT ALL!! Not even sure how I'm going to get this thing clean! It says to just wipe down any excess batter...with this, the entire iron IS excess batter...LOL Thanks! | ||||||||||

| for sure you need to spray that iron...wow...bet you have a real mess on your hands huh?...lol They do make SBD friendly spray....Olive Oil or even canola spray's are just fine to use for this reason. I'm sure that will help. | |||||||||||

| Thank you, Tiny T!!! I was going to try and make them again yesterday, but didn't...but when I do, I will definitely use a spray! Have a great day! | ||||||||||
