| Ok. I am going to switch from the Atkins to the SBD. I have read the book and many forums. I am finally educated enough on the requirements per meals per day in Phase 1. I do have a few questions though.... Could I eat Natural PB instead of the 15 almonds(ex.) in Phase 1? If yes how much? With the snacks I am a bit confused. I have read it is best to mix veggies with a cheese for example. I thought that if I ate 1 oz of string chz that would be my snack. How could I mix in veggies without going over my 4.5 cup daily limit? After dinner we are allowed a snack. If I wanted to eat 1/2 cup of ricotta chz for dessert would that be considered a dessert or my snack for the evening? Also, if I added a hard boiled egg to my salad at lunch(including 3 oz of chix) would I have to reduce my chix to make up for the hard boiled egg counted as a protien? Alright, I think that is it for right now! I have read through so many threads and could not find the answers to these. I am very excited to start the SBD. I am not going to Phase 2 in the beginning bc I have had Gastritus and had to get off the Atkins(all the saturated fat upset my stomach I think). So I am back in carb land now(and feel like absolute crap!!).
