Breakfast:coffee fat free creamer Veggie drink Egg and Canadian bacon Snack: Celery w/ happy cow cheese Lunch: Asparagus and grill chicken Sugar free jello \ Snack: cheese and the rest of the sugar free jello Snack: this is the only place I think I went over board 3 handful of mixed salted nuts Dinner: grill shrimp and ½ Portion of salmon and Asparagus Desert: low fat ricotta cheese w/ almond extra and 1 handful of almonds I used the bathroom at least 10 times yesterday. I worked out for 30 mins cardio and 20 mins weights. Why did I wake up heavier? | ||||||||||

| Congratulations on making changes toward a healthier lifestyle! And welcome to the board. In my opinion...you wouldn't see a loss after only one day. You should only weigh yourself once a week anyway (this is recommended in the book) since your weight fluctuates so often. Give it at least a week to notice a difference. Also, you might want to watch your nut consumption. You're really only supposed to have 1 serving/day and on your menu you had what looks like 4 servings. | ||||||||||

| YOUR DOING GREAT MY FRIEND! Welcome!!! Your menu looks awesome. And yes...my freind here is correct...don't be a scale watcher!!! I can drink a cup of coffee and gain a pound...or go to the bathroom and lose 2...lol...once a week...stick to that rule...especially in phase 1...those week long results will astonish you & boost your motivation for another week! Even with your extra nuts in there, I'm sure the menu you have here is at least 10-20 times better than your old menu...keep on doin' what your doin' and you will see results by the end of the week. Even with those extra nuts. It's hard to start this diet...I found myself hovering in the refridgerator when I first started...looking for that one thing I was not supposed to have...(good thing I cleaned out my fridge when I started & chose the nuts myself)...Look at the bright side of it...a few extra nuts are far better than a Twinkie or chips right?...keep it up...your doing it! | |||||||||||

| This is very true.. watching scales can almost be a loss than a gain. As far as what time of day you weigh, if you just used the BR or just ate and your body still has to detox and start pushing out all the bad to usher in the good. You can do it though! | |||||||||||

| Just stick to what your doing and don't bother with the scale this first couple of weeks. Weighing daily can depress people, there are so many factors involved. I was also a scale watcher and took a little doing to get out of that habit. Pick a day and weigh yourself once a week once you have gone to the br in the morning before you consume anything. | |||||||||||
