| In the book, it says to avaoid all dairy including yogurt, but I saw the posts about Dannon Light & Fit....does this mean that yogurt is okay in Phase 1 if its Light and fit Carb and Sugar Control? Would I be able to eat it as a snack or dessert? This would be great! But I want to be clear that it is okay to eat in Phase 1...please confirm. Thanks, Laura | ||||||||||

| You are working from either an old book or an old list. Certain types of milk and yogurt are allowed and encouraged in P1 up to 2 cups daily. Yogurt however should only be plain and fat free or low fat. (and vanilla is a flavor). 4-6 oz of light and fit would be OK in P2 but the carb control is not a good choice in any phase. you want the good carbs from the dairy. taking them out is removing one of the primary reasons for including it to begin with. Please check the food lists in the sticky threads here as there may be other changes that would be helpful to you as well! | |||||||||||
