| Although I like the little egg quiches, sometimes the thought of eating eggs in the morning is so yucky that I would rather not eat at all.....can anyone suggest some non-egg breakfast options for phase one? Can one of the pros tell me if this recipe below for a peanut butter smoothie would be allowed as a phase one breakfast? | you can eat anything on the food lists for breakfast and try to get a balance of good fats, proteins and carbs and adequate calories to fuel your morning and get your metabolism up and running! a bowl of homemade chili is a great P1 breakfast (lunch or dinner!) for instance. cottage cheese with veggies like tomato chopped up into it is good too. here's the meal model for P1 breakfasts: Quote:

| Update! I just made this smoothie and its quite tangy!! I don't think this will be a good option for me, the yogurt makes it way too tangy. I guess I will try chili for breakfast! | ||||||||||
