| Hi Everyone, I'm starting Phase 1 today. I appreciate all the great tips on here - I like the threads on breakfast because I am definately NOT a breakfast / egg eater. Wondering about a couple things: 1. Mayo - can it be regular or does it have to be lite? 2. Salad dressing - can commercially prepared ff or lite salad dressing be used? Any other ideas or tips would be great. Thanks. T | ||||||||||

| you're actually better off with regular dressings with 10-16 gms of fat per 2 tbslp serving size than either FF (typically listed as Avoid) or Light/LF (typically listed as Limited). Best are those that use olive and or canola oils as their base. (higher percentage of monounsaturated and omega oils) There are a lot of commercial dressings that work. There are even more that don't though! and yes 2 tbsp of LF mayo or 1 tbsp of regular per meal as your "good fats" portion for that meal. (again not the FF as they usually add a bunch of crap ingredients (and often more sugars) to make up for the lack of fat) Last edited by RedRox; 08-19-2008 at 02:25 AM. | |||||||||||
