Default Farewell Phase 1

Well tomorrow will be the last of Phase 1, and I've never felt better. I didn't think I could do it, espically with my SO not wanting to eat healthy (yet). I did it, bread or sugar didn't touch my lips once. It wasn't hard at all, the only trouble I had was not eating enough, but with you guys and your knowledge, I was able to get past that.

The scale wasn't moving for most of the 2 weeks, but good news. I started back at the gym on Sunday, and have been doing 45-50 minutes of cardio on the eliptical, every day but today (did legs today). I feel wonderful, I"ve been eating (good things) drinking (water, coffee) and not wanting cake or cookies or chocolate or a sandwitch. And have lost a total of 5 lbs so far. YAY

I'm really looking foward to phase to, I'm looking foward to Fresh Fruit, pitas, whole wheat bread, and of course the ever shrinking waist line.

Farewell Phase 1, but I have a feeling I'll see you again after thanksgiving, and again after christmas.

Thank you for being kind to me!

congrats!! just go slow on the transition. don't add all that at once! pick one fruit or one whole grain/starchy veggie and introduce that into your normal P1 routine at first for the first few days (some say a week. I think 4-5 days is enough to gauge your body's response to it) and then add another serving of the other category for the next few day. So if at first you start with a whole grain (read bread and pita labels VERY carefully!) then add a fruit next. Third addition you'd be back to a grain and so forth alternating. Also watch serving sizes of grains. Most serving sized listed on packaging is much larger than an actual nutritional serving which is 1 oz or 30 gms. Many slices of breads are 40+ gms for instance. A pita is close to 60, so you really should only have a half at a time anyway. things like that....

we'll get ya through it! Glad you feel so positive! That's always a plus! Attitude is everything!!

WAY TO GO CASS!!!! SWIZEET!!!!

Woo Hoo!!.....5 pounds....(happy dance)...that's a great start and now that you've added exercise, expecially cardio...I know your going to continue to lose that weight. I'm proof...I didn't 'cheat' either, and when I started doing cardio every day, I lost an average of 1-2 pounds per week!...and those numbers will add up fast. With no 'cheating', a positive attitude and TONS of determination, (all of which you seem to have) you'll be there in no time!!!

You skinny CASS girl you....lol
