| Since there seem to be a little group of us that want to stay connected while we are getting used to this new way of life, I thought I'd take the initiative and make us a thread. We need to give Tom's thread back to him. So, Jar, Sickofdieting, and anyone else that would like to join us here, please feel free. We'd also love to hear from those that have been here for many moons too. The support of those that have experience is priceless. I'm beginning Phase 1 tomorrow. I think it's beneficial to talk with others doing what I am doing. Please jump in and tell us where you are on your journey and how we can help. | Jilly I found the site. Great. I have done pretty well today and tonight. I made turkey chili and it turned out really good. I made a big bunch of it so I have some for tomorrow as well. Good luck tomorrow. Remember to only concentrate on one day at a time and you will get through the Phase 1 pretty easily. Be sure to eat all of your vegetables and drink lots of water. | ||||||||||

| You are thinking in the right way Sickofdieting. You even have it in your name tag. You are Sickofdieting and have now started a new of eating for life. Not dieting anymore. Sounds like you are off to a good start. One thing I would recommend is that you look at the Bocca Crumbles to see what the ingredients are they may have some grains. Also, I am very sensitive to breads, oatmeal etc. Have a good day! | ||||||||||

| I'm here! Just checking in. I had an okay day yesterday. I was not hungry, though I have to say I wanted to eat a couple times, more out of habit than anything else. I have my food planned out ahead of time and it has taken the spontaneity out of eating for me. A good thing in the long run, but it will take some getting used to. I started a blog yesterday. It's the only blog I've ever done and for some reason it seems a little scary, but I hope it will be beneficial to be able to look back and learn from what I write. So, how are you all doing today? | |||||||||||

| Hey. Don't be so hard on yourself. You'll get it -- when you're ready. When you are sick of feeling bad (either physically or mentally or maybe both as I am), you will do it. How are you doing today so far? Talk with us. That's what we're here for. That's why we started this thread. I check in quite regularly most days and I think Jar does too. | Im desperate to join again and lose weight....I really need the support factor to keep me accountable.... When I first did SB 4 years ago, I lost 47 lbs for my wedding...I need to go back to that way of life/eating just to get healthy again....
