| Today is the second day of my diet and I already feel better about myself! I have traded in all my coffee for caffeine-free herbal teas with no sugar or milk/cream and water. It's hard though. I've been craving carbs SO much. But I am determined to look good for my cruise in December!! Exercise along with the Diet is good right? I suppose that may be a stupid question, but has anyone been exercising vigorously and seen much better results? I'm excited to finally lose the weight... I feel like this is going to be the time I actually lose it! | ||||||||||

![]() I'm new here too miranda so welcome. Today is day 4 for me and I'm really doing alot of craving but we will both get through it. This is my second time on the beach and it really does give you good results. We are starting a weight challenge on weds and you are welcome to join. Look in our weekly weighin section if interested. | Thanks alot. I've been craving alot too! >.< My parents made Pasta and Garlic Bread last night...my FAVOURITES. But I didn't cheat. I have some self control. I'd love to join the weight challenge!! Count me and in and thanks. | ||||||||||

| Thanks. My mom is proud of me, she knows I've been wanting to lose this extra weight for a while. I'm excited for the challenge to start!!

| I just had to jump in here....tell your family you need their support! EXPLAIN to them how important this is, not only to you, but to them too...it will keep you around longer simple as that...you'll be healthier, have more energy and be able to help them more being fit than overweight...I hope they have enough compassion for you that they will try to be supportive, even if they are not doing it with you...I hate it when people make a joke of someone trying to lose weight.... I HATED it when people would ask...want a cookie?....want some candy?...HELL NO I DON'T!...what's wrong with you people?...and they would just laugh......see how they are?....well I did it anyhow...even with all their jokes....so please, stay strong, seek out supportive people and surround yourself with them! Find it on this forum if you must, but get support from as many sources as possible, it does nothing but help you along your way....HECK, if all else fails, I'm here for ya my friend! LEAN ON ME!!! | |||||||||||

| Maybe you will be a good example to them. Who cooks the food in your house? If you are not the main cook, maybe you could volunteer to plan some of the meals and do some of the cooking a few times a week. You can do this! If possible sit down with your family and explain how important this is to you. You can do this, we can all do this together. By the way we are having a weight challenge. It's all for fun and it will help us become more accountable during this tough season. It's under the weigh in section and we loved to have you. | |||||||||||
