Default tummy troubles

I am going to stick to the facts. I only post it because if you are in the same boat as I was--it can be a real bear.

The change in food intake when i started South Beach almost two weeks ago caused my body to stop being regular.
????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/south-beach-diet-forums-phase-1/2242-tummy-troubles.html

I was/am getting plenty of fiber. At least 1/2 cup of homemade black beans a day, over a cup of spinach, over a two cups of raw veggies (celery and peppers), and over a cup of spinach or arugula. Lots of hot sauce and coffee too which would theoretically cause something to happen.

I was/am getting plenty of water. Liters and liters a day. I exercise everyday at the gym on the treadmill and run outside on weekends.

I attribute the addition of cheese to my diet for binding things up. I'm borderline lactose intolerant.

I added fiber powder to my diet but it didn't help.

what did help was "Smooth Move" tea. It has senna leaf which stimulates the intestines.
I drank one cup and 24 hours later one more cup. I will not be drinking it again unless needed. It is STRONG stuff.

just something for your files if you run into trouble--i'm not into chemicals so i wanted to keep everything natural.

You can try some Flaxmeal as it is all fiber. Usually helps with constipation.

Default Aloe Juice

Aloe Juice is the best thing. I highly recommend it!
It could help with your problem.

Never heard of it. Where does one find that? And how does it count/fit in the SB-friendly foods list?
