:OMG:Oh my a week ago, never let it go that long. You don't want your bowels to become impacted. If you don't go every 3 days then you might need to do something. First of all make sure you drink plenty of water, eat high fiber veggie(I try to eat the skin on some such as cucumber, zucchini ect, that's where the fiber is) and if needed you can add some metamucil to your diet which will add bulk and give you...ease in passing.

If you feel very constipated I would go for the laxative but use something like a ducolax, which is mild but very effective. You really just want a stool softner but if you find this is a common problem you might want to add a fiber pill (he suggest one with psyillium). I would not use a laxative on a regular basis, you body can depend on them so use them sparingly. IF you are eating enough high fiber veggies in phase 1, most times this is not a problem.

Default Aloe Juice!

1 1/2 ounces of Aloe Juice works wonders. It is good for digestion as well as blood circulation.

Trader joes sells it ... and actually that is the one that I use. People make their own from an aloe plant. Most health food stores sell it as well.

Here is a random link here is a random article on it:
Conscious Choice: Aloe Vera

Drink your (Aloe) Juice

Yes, you can drink Aloe! In fact, researchers recommend it. Aloe vera, along with protein; calcium; magnesium; zinc; vitamins A, C, and E; vitamin B-complex; and essential fatty acids, is a valuable component of a diet that’s healthful for skin.

Healthy skin also depends on good digestion. A healthy digestive tract and liver are needed to properly convert vitamins, minerals, fats, and proteins into absorbable nutrients essential for healthy skin. Researchers have found that eating on the run and having reduced digestive juices in the body can create an internal environment in which as little as 10 percent of nutrients eaten may actually be absorbed into the blood stream. Aloe vera juice is an herbal bitter. This means that when no sulfites or water are added the juice contains a pH range of 4.7-5.2 and aids digestion. The best time to drink the juice is before meals.

Today, you can buy aloe juice at most health food stores and progressive grocers. (Bottled Aloe juices and skin gels that are golden in color have more medicinal value than products that look like water.) But you can drink the aloe from your plant, if you have one. People in ancient cultures commonly cut a leaf from the outer plant close to the base. If the plant received adequate sun and water, and was grown in rich soil, then a sufficient amount of yellow sap from the plant would seep out of the cut leaf. After allowing the sap to drain into a cup of water, they would drink it. Eating the plant’s inner mucilage also was common.

LETTUCE, LETTUCE, LETTUCE...SALAD, SALAD, SALAD...

I swear...if you eat salad/lettuce on a regular basis...you will have to be regular....throw in a side salad w/your lunch or your dinner...

fried cabbage is a good one too...make a stir fry....I swear by the salad though....

so have you had any luck....yet?....I hope so
