| I've been reading around the forum a bit and notice some people suggest V8 juice. However, when I was at the grocery store I took a look at the ingredients I saw it includes carrot and beet juice, which I thought weren't permitted on phase 1. I'd love to drink V8 for some of my snacks or perhaps as part of my breakfast, but is it really ok for phase 1. And I know this headache and complete tiredness I have (day 2) is going to go away, but can someone just tell me again it will get better. |

| and be sure you are getting enough carbs with sufficient amounts of dairy and beans/legumes daily. You are allowed up to 2 cups daily of allowed types of milk or yogurt and up to a cup or so of beans. The dairy is high in natural sugars and will provide a quick energy boost and the beans are both filling and provide more sustained form of energy. Both will help with the headaches and energy level. I think 6 oz. of regular of low sodium V8 is the allowed amount in place of 1/2 cup of veggies in the morning but check the meal model thread stickied in the P1 forum.
