:Morning: Yes - still following the meal plan - but O.M.G!!!! I drove by Timmies this morning and thought that I was going to jump clear out of the car and DIVE in there and get my tea!!! (XL 3 CREAM!! Yum!! 1 Sugar!!!!) But alas, my bottle of water mixed with Crystal Light slapped me upside the head, I ended up missing both drive-ways and had to come to work! *sigh* No cravings for other foods - just my Timmies! (and I can't drink it any other way, I ENJOY it that way! Why ruin a good thing?) *lol*

(P.S I don't feel so hot today, kinda of laggy, tired, and my body feels exhausted .. either my body is working overtime to combat this weight, or I'm getting sick! Blah!)

I love me some Cafe Mocha w/ extra, extra mocha!! yum!! It is my day 3 too and I actually feel okay so far. I just don't really feel famished for mealtime, it is weird!!

I have a stressful day ahead of me as I run my own in home daycare and I have a new parent coming to meet me today. Meeting new people and trying to impress them in such little time is hard. Especially when it has to do with their children!!

Well, have a good day and congrats so far!! You will be happy with the results!

Well the way that I look at it is if I can make it through the first 7 days - then I should be ok. After 7 days I should feel some results, and my scale should have moved DOWNWARDS - not upwards.. and if that happens then sneaking a tea ONCE in a while won't KILL me. But if I fail in this first 7 days or can't keep my willpower for at least that long, then I don't DESERVE my tea! *lol*

Good luck with the parents! Its got to be hard being under all that scrutiny! I should know, I was one of those parents!! I used to take my daughter to a home daycare until I got so tired of them sitting her in front of a TV all day, so I ended up putting her in a regular daycare!!

I had a really nice girl who ran one out of her home, they went to the park everyday, and the pool, and they were ALWAYS outside .. but she got really sick and closed down!

Water water water .. must drink water. Today I will try to drink one flavored water, and then one plain, and then one flavored etc. Yesterday I made it up to 4 bottles!! WOW! (that for me is HUGE, its only a 500mL bottle, but I never drink water, it was always 1 tea, and 1 red bull a day!)

You are two determined gals!
I'm going to have my determined face on today too I'm making a big birthday party celebration dinner for my oldest daughter---and 12 of her closest friends. I think the sheer amount of food will be enough to dampen my appetite. I'm hoping anyway.

I am down a couple pounds this week but it almost feels anti climatic because i was on a plateau for a three weeks before that. Keeping up with drinking water today will be important because i have a bad headcold--going to try and drown it out.

I'm still enjoying regular water but i also drink at least four glasses of crystal light a day (the bright flavor really wakes up my taste buds) and also a couple mugs of tea at night in front of the tv. It has been a little over a month for me and I think I've finally fully adopted the idea of not snacking in front of the t.v. That is huge. On weight watchers i always saved my popcorn points etc to snack on a couple nights a week when we watch shows. I like the south beach way of just cutting that habit out of the equation. For me, because south beach is pretty limited (at least in phase one) it helps move food back to the table for me and out of the car or off the couch.

yesterday oprah posted that she has gained 40 lbs back. she has gone from 160 to 200 and is very determined to lose it again. I remember in her slim days she said she quit eating after 7pm in the evening.

we went to dinner last night at a vietnamese restaurant. i was able to stay on program with a big salad and shrimp skewers. More interesting though was....I'm just not as hungry now!

I have never done something like this before - so why not give it an honest effort? I mean maybe it won't work for me, or maybe it will. Either way I will never know if I don't try it right? I suppose its better to start witha long program like this as opposed to a short 1 week stint that probably will just make you gain back everything you have lost and more!! I would love to be able to fit back into my old clothes!!

I can finish off a bottle of water w/Crystal Light in it in about 20 minutes and then go on to the next one. I had a bottle of water this morning and I JUST finished it now!!! (about 3 hours to finish it!!!) Will it do me HARM to drink JUST Crystal Light? Or will it make that much of a diff if i just drink water?
