| Looking for hints and tips as to how you tracked not only what you were making (recipe wise) but also what you needed to buy at the grocery store | |||||||||||

| I logged my daily intake of food at fitday.com it is free. i looked for food lists on this website (they are in the "sticky" posts) and food lists in the south beach book that is what i used to grocery shop. Phase one is limited in your food choices. | |||||||||||

| I stocked up on fresh veggies, low fat cheeses, Ricotta, beans and nuts. Those were the things I felt I could not be without. The other stuff I pretty much have around anyway (like 1% milk, eggs, olive oil, meats, and for me now in Phase 2 - fruits and whole grains...) I plan what I'm going to eat the day before, so I am sure to have what I planned in the house. This helps tremendously so that I don't go to the fridge or cupboard when I'm hungry and think "what am I going to eat?" Good questions! Plan, plan, plan! We're here to help... :Secret: | |||||||||||
