| ONE WEEK DOWN and one more to go and Im down about 4 lbs. I wanted to post my progress and hopefully others who started around the beginning of the year want to post theirs? Doing this with other people feels really good! | |||||||||||

| One week down here too! Over the cravings! Thank God!!!! Those were killing me. I literally couldve seriously hurt someone for some TacoBell. Lol. Im down about 6½ pounds and loving it. Cant wait for next week to be over so I can have a piece of whole grain bread! Keep up the great work everybody!!! | ||||||||||

| 1 week here gone as well was shocked at my lack of cravings - thought I'd have them bad but always found a good South Beach friendly way around them... Today I found myself craving...a salad??? Yes - I wanted that yummy lettuce green flavor with a hint of vinegrette and a touch of walnut with a sliver of cheese! I know I started South Beach to lose weight - but at this point (and thank you Jilly for pointing this out) for me it's not about just losing the lbs. anymore. It is about how I feel and the healthier food I'm now putting in my body. If the weight goes as well - so be it!!! What I've learned: Don't skip snacks - its the key to keeping your blood sugar level so you dont end up having not just cravings but that whole "I'm starving" feeling South Beach isn't really hard (at all) nor is it different, it's just the way we should have been eating all along. Less processed = Better Food Less processed = Better Tasting (IMHO) Ricotta Cheese is your best friend, as it is exceptionally diverse and carries flavors REALLY well That I am a "boredom" eater..if I was bored - mentally or physically inactive - the first thing I would do is reach for food (usually junk food). This is no longer the case if I get bored (and THINK I'm hungry) I either pick up and read South Beach websites OR hop on the treadmill for a quick 10 min. walk or start playing my Wii, pretty soon - I'm not hungry anymore. | hmm thats true luv. The healthy feeling definitely is a plus and, I hope I dont offend anyone not sure of peoples religious standings and all that but I feel like this is the way god intended us to eat, you know? And I love the feeling of severing this "relationship/addiction" to food. Being in control. | |||||||||||

| Hey guys! I started last Monday the 5th. Last time I checked was for the weigh in on Weds and I lost 2 lbs then. I will not weigh again until then...so, hopefully good news!! Great Job everyone! | ||||||||||

| SOOOOO I finally bought a scale.. and.. dun dun dun... Im down 9 pounds... I was scared to get on but I am FLABBERGASTED.. i dont know what to do with myself....
