| Sitting here looking at a calendar... I'm actually 11 days into South Beach. That is 11 days: without sugar without processed foods without junkfood of eating balanced meals with snacks for the first time in my life trying new foods trying new ways of making foods of drinking more water than I could have ever imagined Okay - so here is the kicker... My weight loss has slowed down (as expected) BUT my diastolic blood pressure has dropped (the Dr was REALLY worried out this as I am already on Benicar and it was approaching 100 less than a month ago) - Trying to figure out how this one works but it was regularly been in the 60s now, when just a month ago it was in the 90s. ????: South Beach Diet Forums http://www.southbeachdietbulletinboard.com/south-beach-diet-forums-phase-1/2375-ya-so-my-math-way-off.html my body continues to reshape itself. Despite having not added any full-time physical activity into my daily activities yet - I can SEE the physical changes I just FEEL better from an overall perspective. | |||||||||||

| Great news LuvBug! I am with you, I feel so happy about what I am doing. I am changing myself from the inside out! I see the changes in my body also (probably the bloatedness fading). I am happier and my family can sense that also. I am 9 days in and have tried things I never would have thought of. Some are so good I can't believe I am SUPPOSED to eat it, some has been just ok! 11 days in is a committment. You have made it past the hardest days and have probably been grocery shopping somewhere in there again. So you made a concious decision to keep going! For that, you get a round of applause!!!! | ||||||||||
