Default Starting over 2/3/2009

I'm excited about starting the sbd again. I have already started a walking program and have set a goal of 2 miles for 5 days a week. I enjoy the fresh air and moving again. Looking forward to the great tips and advice on the board.

Smile 4 pounds first week

I guess I was a little disappointed at only losing 4 pounds but still 4 pounds lighter. I didn't weigh at the end of my second week trying not to let the scale be my judge. I will at the end of this week just to see where I am in relation to my goal. I am still walking 6 days a week and actually am enjoying it. I use this time to think and plan my days its a wonderful stress reducer. I am up to 3 miles a day and twice a week I climb a nature trail. The first time I thought I was going to die lol but now its challenging and I can feel the endorphins surging through me at the end. Its been a great boost and workout out for my behind lol. I have been reading the board today and it really does pump me up to stay motivated. Thanks everyone for the support and advice.

Welcome back jean! Remember the weight loss really starts in phase 2. Phase 1 especially if you done this before comes off slower than we all anticipate. Keep it up!
