Default Question about yogurt

I have seen that I am allowed to have fat-free/low-fat yogurt in phase one but does it HAVE to be plain? Is the fat free flavored yogurt ok?
I think I can handle to fruit, sugar, etc for 2 weeks but I would really like to have a cup of flavored yogurt to keep myself satisfied.
Thanks

sorry, no only the plain is allowed. And in P2, the flavored, artificially sweetened ones are limited to like 6 oz, whereas you can keep using the plain up to the allowed limits if that is your only source of dairy.

You can however use other products like SF syrups, SF jello powders, SF drink powders like crystal light, flavored extracts and so forth to modify the taste of it if u like. Or even spices like cinnamon or whatever else might work.

Although I despise plain yogurt, I absolutely love it with sf lemon Jello powder mixed in. It is terrific!

Default yogurt

i use plain and put REAL fruit in it. Same with oatmeal, I would rather "flavor" it with real fruit. You see how small those blueberry knock off things are? I had blueberries this morning the size of marbles.

remember to try to keep what your eating as from the earth in its most natural form. yogurt is nice and all, just read the back and see if its full of junk 1st.

Plain LF yogurt mixed with fruit is a no-go with P1 - P2 it's fine.

The reason for this, is the fruit will kick off cravings. The biggest secret to figuring out this diet, is the slow reintroduction of foods in P2. Fruit is one of them.

That said, you can mix your plain yogurt in P1, with any other ok foods - sweetener, vanilla, cinnamon, or the jello mix as suggested above.

The yogurt/sf jello mix is definitely okay for phase one.

yeah that helps...i wouldnt even worry that much about the yogurt thing, phase one is only for 2 weeks...

AFTER phase one though i really do recommend fresh fruits over the store ones with the gross fruit crap in it...yuck..
