Default Hello

Hi
I started south beach on march 30th. Its been one week and ive lost 6pds im excited and eager to keep going. I tried this awhile ago was doing real good and then things came up with my mother. I didnt have time to cook healthy well you know the rest of the story. Everything is better now i cook healthy and i follow the recipes here on the forum and i also have the cookbooks. I will not let family problems ruin my chances of getting to my goal. I love this diet im never hungry. I love the fact that i can have vegetables and lots of them. Other diets limit them. Im looking forward to adding fruit and bread back in but at the moment im doing well without them. I dont have sugar cravings anymore and thats a good thing. I used to love eating lots of ice cream but not anymore. My honey loves the recipes i try. Hes my biggest critic haha. I hope everyone is doing well. Ill keep everyone posted on my weightloss. Until next time. See ya

Welcome and good luck!!

Be aware that a fairly typical pattern is a lot of water weight in the first week and little to no weight loss in the 2nd week and perhaps even in the first few weeks of transitioning to P2. But if you can ride through the inevitable plateaus along the way simply enjoying what you are eating and knowing that it is all a good healthy eating plan and that you are doing good things even when the scale isn't necessarily validating those healthy choices, then you'll probably do great! It's a longevity and consistency based program! In other words, don't go on a diet, change your diet!
