| A "delicate" question: Is it normal to have tummy troubles when first starting SB? I've been..umm...bloated and gassy and rather miserable for the past couple of days, imagine it's the increase in fiber as well as the bean soup I made the other night. I think I might have overdone it on my portion size. Anyone else have this problem? | ||||||||||

| Anytime you change your diet in a significant way, your body usually gets out of sorts for a bit as it adjusts. Constipation or diarrhea are often common occurrences in P1 for instance. Bean soup might have been a culprit if you didn't typically include a lot of beans in your diet beforehand. Also anytime you do use beans, make sure to rinse them very well before you use them. (Assuming you were using canned beans. If you cook them yourself from dried beans, instructions usually call for several rinses and water changes along the way anyway.) | |||||||||||

| RedRox, I'm feeling much better today so perhaps my body's adjusting a tiny bit already. | ||||||||||
