Did you look in the "Foods to Enjoy on Phase 1" foods list that is a sticky topic near the top of this P1 forum under the category titled Milk/Dairy?

The food list sticky topics and the Meal Model sticky topics in each phase are your best sources of info on what is allowed and how to combine them into rational complete SB menus that you can refer to on your own.

But yes, milk/dairy is highly encouraged on P1. You get up to 2 cups per day in any combo of the allowed types of milk or yogurt. (cheeses are a protein for SB purposes and not included in the dairy category or allowance) The only type of yogurt in P1 though is PLAIN, lowfat or nonfat yogurt though. Note that vanilla yogurt is still a flavored yogurt. If you don't like the taste of plain yogurt, you can add flavor extracts, SF powders like drink mixes like crystal light or SF jello powders to flavor them within SB guidelines.
