    Question phase one help...getting discouraged

    So idk if ppl even come on here but here goes nothing. i am 21 female who has always struggled with my weight since a yound age. i have tried cuttin back on foods did sports n wat no with little luck. so i decided to try this diet since many ppl seem to have luck I have been on the diet for about a week n a half and not seem to be losin weight. i have lost three maybe five pounds. i have not cheated once and am stickin to the foods to enjoy list as well as recipies in the book and cookbook. i am gettin discouraged because i am not losing alot of weight. please help

    Please don't get discouraged. 3-5 lbs is a respectable amount of weight to lose in 1.5 weeks. I know it says some people can lose up to 14 lbs in ph1 but quite frankly I know I'm not one of them. It took a long time to gain this much weight that I have and I have come to accept it will take a while to get it off.

    One thing that could help is if you would post a list of what you're eating and when you're eating it in a typical day.

    Another thing you can do is ask yourself what you're expecting to happen and if it's a realistic expectation or not.

    dont get discouraged, I too lose really slow, but my clothes are looser and belly flatter. that makes me stay motivated.
