| I have a question re: whole wheat pasta. Can someone give me the actual brands that are okay on Phase 2/3. I just bought Healthy something whole wheat pasta - brown box (I'm at work so I can't remember the brand). But I heard that some of the so called whole wheat pastas aren't really good. What should I look for in the first 3 ingredients? Thanks. Andi | ||||||||||

| Boy Andi, I am not sure I know the answer to that one. I would think that you would want label items that said it was whole wheat as the first ingredient and not a lot of chemicals. I don't think there are a lot of whole wheat brands out there. | ||||||||||

| The whole wheat pasta I buy has ONE ingredient only: 100% whole wheat durham flour. It has 5 grams of fiber per serving. The particular brand I buy is the store brand by Fresh Market. But I have seen other 100% whole wheat durham flour brands. Try Hodgson Mills, Arrowhead Mills to name a couple. Just remember not to eat this until Phase 2!!!:Love3: | ||||||||||

| Look for 100% whole wheat on the front of the box for one thing. Sometimes it will also have a heart healthy symbol on the box. Beware though because I've seen some that just say wheat pasta and it's a mixture of different flours which we don't want. | |||||||||||
