Can you substitute the regular bacon for turkey bacon or Canadian bacon? Regular bacon has a lot of saturated fat and we try to avoid that as much as possible on this plan. The eggs, veggies and low fat milk are fine. You can have a tablespoon of good fats with breakfast, like to fry your egg in. This thread tells you about good fats and bad ones. http://www.sbdbb.com/showthread.php?...ight=good+fats And there's a sticky posted in the Phase one forum telling you which foods are allowed. A list of allowed fats is there. AM snack is fine. Lunch looks good, too. The chicken breast should not be fried and should be skinless. You could rub a tablespoon of olive oil on it and some spices and grill it or bake it. Tofu is limited to 1/2 a cup. There should be another snack in between lunch and dinner. A protein/veggie one would be excellent. What's in the meatballs for dinner? There should be no bread filler and the meat should be low fat. How are you going to fix the veggies? If a salad then don't forget to get your good fats and try to use a dressing with olive oil in it. If you're steaming them, then use a pat of trans-fat free margarine like Smart Balance. The Smart Balance I use is light and has flax oil in it. Flax is a good source of omega-3. You're also allowed a sweet treat allowance per day and it should be between the 75-100 calorie range, but that's really the only calorie counting we do on SB. I really like the fact that you're getting your dairy and veggies in. That's great! Try to follow this meal model for phase one: http://www.sbdbb.com/showthread.php?t=527 Thanks for posting and please post again. Much success! :sun: | |||||||||||

| Hey monster we are pretty close in our weight loss goals. I weigh 125 and im trying to get to 115. It takes forever when you don't have that much weight to loose so hang in there. 3 years ago I got up to 134 and then I decided to do a figure contest I started dieting in January and got down to 126 by March then I started doing a strict contest diet in April and got down to 115lbs by the end of June so plan on it taking you about 3-4months to get to where you want to be then when you get to that weight you have to continue to eat good or else the weight will slowly but surely come back on, hope this helps!! | ||||||||||
