| Over this weekend hubby and I were out most of the time so I did not have a chance to make my own food and we ate out alot. But I realized when I did order my food I made healthy choices. Friday we went to Red Lobster, where I would usually eat half the basket of those lovely biscuits, a salad drenched in ranch dressing and probably that shrimp pasta with the rich sauce. Instead I had a salad without the ranch and no croutons, shrimp skewers and the veggies on the side. I had to have a taste of the bread so I cut a piece off and that was it! Saturday we had a family reunion dinner, I had a salad, veggies and turkey breast. They had cheesecake for dessert which I did have some of, but after like the 3rd bite it was wayyyy too sweet and the tea was sweetened and it tasted wayyyy to sweet as well. I guess cutting out the sugar has made that stuff not so desirable to me any more! Sunday we had Chinese food in which I normally get shrimp fried rice and something like sweet and sour chicken. This time I opted for chicken and veggies and only a 1/2 cup of brown rice. It may not have been the most SB way to do a weekend but I am proud of my decisions!! And I made sure on those days to have SB approved breakfasts as well. Well that's my little weekend story! Thanks for reading it! | ||||||||||
