Default Chips

So I know that chips are generally bad for you but today for lunch I was at Subway getting a Chicken Wrap. And I saw Sunchips, they are made from whole grains
For one serving size
the Fiber was 3 grams and the sugar was 3 grams, are these ok to have on Phase 2???

The SBD stand is that there are no chips that are recommended on the plan. The Sun chips, in particular, are made out of a corn, a food that has a very high GI, and is never recommended.

However I did read on their site that these can be used as an "occasional treat". Just watch out that they don't cause cravings and that you can stop at one serving.

It's your choice to make. Good luck!

Here is a link the their nutritional facts http://www.fritolay.com/fl/flstore/c...s_sunchips.htm

Ingredients: Whole corn, sunflower oil, whole wheat, rice flour, whole oat flour, sugar and salt.

I'd say no with corn, "rice flour" is that brown. . .is that white?!?! and sugar.

Oh, I really like Sun chips! I mean really like them ....... a bit too much. I can't stop at one serving and I've never seen single serving bags. Maybe in a situation like Myndi Jo is describing I could handle it. But if I had the regular size bag they'd be calling my name until I shut them up by eating all of them! :jester:

I have never counted if it was just one serving i eat when i eat the sun chips, i am at the point that i get full quickly now (which helps) so if i eat maybe 20 or so im full, i know i cant just keep eating the whole bag!

You're lucky to have such control. I hope to be there some day!

Well I dont usually see the single serving bags but when I go into Subway or Mr Goodcents for a chicken wrap they have the single serving sizes. They are the best!
