So far just breakfast:
I made myself a little breakfast sandwhich on one piece of whole grain bread, one egg fried in PAM, thin slice of cheese, light mayo and one can of V-8....it's important to me that I'm follwing the food template.....how do you think I did for breakfast?

Protein: your egg and cheese
Vegetables: your V-8
Fruit: 1 fruit serving allowed daily (with this meal or other).
Starch: your slice of ww bread
Milk/Dairy: 2-3 cups allowed daily (including yogurt)
Fat: your mayo and Pam (optional)

I think you did just fine. It looks like from the meal model that a serving of fat is optional at breakfast. But you'll want to make sure and try to get it in for lunch and dinner. But, that's fine that you already got it in.

I would try to have some fruit for my morning or afternoon snack. And you need to work your dairy in there somewhere. Personally I'm not much of a milk drinker, unless it's chocolate milk. :hide: I do use some Hershey's sugar free syrup in my milk from time to time. It's 15 calories per 2 Tablespoons. I tried to get you the link with the info, but it's not working right today. Perhaps later on.

I get some of my dairy in with my coffee in the mornings.

And there's always yogurt, which I love. And if you make a smoothie, you can get your fruit and dairy all at one time. I LOVE this food plan!

Have a happy holiday!
