| So I have been testing strawberries the last 3 days and each day I was hungry and had bad cravings...however I'm also pmsing so that might have something to do w/ it. I'm of course craving popcorn which I already know effects me. What advice do you have when you have tested something, no it effects your, your hungry and wanted things you shouldn't have?!? Weird cause I've had other sugary junk like that brownie last week and that had no effect on me but strawberries and popcorn. .. they hate me

| I suggest at those times you eat some lean protein with veggies. | ||||||||||

| I will try that. I'm not giving in, I've been drinking liquids and trying to sleep or whatever but its REALLY Hard. So far I have found Good: WW Pasta Blueberries Bad: Popcorn Strawberries Ryvitas Mighty Bites Cereal I've tested the last 3 Sat/Sun/Mon and all three have been bad. I think I need to take a break from testing to get back to normal. The last 3 days have been really challenging. :Sad2:

| Thanks. That's interesting data, Laura! For me, generally, it's the more processed things, which have more ingredients, that I have the most trouble with. Like some breads, processed cereals and crackers, bars, etc. give me the most trouble. Banannas & cantaloupe too. It seems like it's alot of trial and error. But I keep a healthy respect for them all. I treat starches & fruits with kid gloves. It helps to remember that all the food groups determine the glycemic load of a meal. So if we have a starch or fruit with protein, veggie, & oil, the blood sugar stays more stable, so less craving. In the Mighty Bites, I see a few sources of sugars as well as corn & rice. How much sugar does it list? | ||||||||||

| I didn't actually keep the box, had them in a cereal container. Only had them cause my nutrionist said she thought they were good for me, and I had actually bought them before I started south beach, didn't think anything of it so I decide I'd give those a whirl. All the food (except strawberries) seem to make sense why they effect me. Then after all my hunger yesterday I wasn't very hungry at all an only able to eat about half my lunch, go figure.
