"Without the carb calories"? How can it be without. You should be having, at the very least, 2 carb servings in Phase 2, or 3.

Without higher cal carbs and with much low cal veg - it can be an effort. I think occasional days under 1200 are okay but all in all we should strive for the minimum 1200.

hmmm, I dunno.. I don't remember ever feeling like I wasn't having enough... that is IF I get my 2 servings of fruit and grains, enough veggies, and protein for the day... seems like I'd be having enough calories. Maybe I'm wrong. I know one thing for sure... I'm a lot thinner, and feel soooo much better.

One helpful thing is the healthy calories. The healthier higher cal foods is helpful for this , our daily serving of nuts and beans. Dairy too even if it is low fat.
