I know that we should not be counting calories, carbs, etc, HOWEVER - I have diabetes and my doc put me on South Beach. I asked her how many grams of carbs a day I should eat (since it is SO cruicial to my health...I have type II and am trying to fight it).
She told me that whatever the book recommends to do. I read the book - I did not notice anywhere that it said anything about carb grams per day...
Does anyone know the approx number of grams of carb, fiber and protein we should be shooting for in a day (again - this is due to my medical problem - I HAVE to track everything).
