HECK YEAH...I won't tell you how long I've been working on my 'last 10 pounds' though...lol....I'm 3 pounds away and have been for about the past few weeks...stalled out for a month a while back and just recently went to phase 1 to try and make something happen...well I lost 4 pounds and managed to get myslef back on track...but still workin' on these last 3 here...still workin'....still workin'....still workin'...I'm like a broken record I swear...lol

I did just realize that I never changed my portion sizes...I'm still eating like I was 200+ lbs...I'm supposed to have 'fewer' calories every day now, so that's my next approach...just pack a smaller lunch & stuff...how bout you...what's your story on getting to where you are?

Tiny T I need your help I was rockin along doing pretty well and then I went out of town for a week. Day 1 I did pretty well and then all went to H***. I don't have much to lose but I probably have put back on everything I lost and then my cravings are back. I plan on going back to Phase 1 tomorrow to get the cravings under control but would love if you could share if this ever happened to you and what did you do to get refocused and then what did you do to handle those stypes of ituations . You know the late working nights, the expectation to entertain during a dinner etc. I realize plan plan plan, pick the right food choices etc. What I was hoping you could share is how did you get your mind in the right place....any words of wisdom would be great.

I had the same problem a few weeks back. Also, switched back to phase 1...just to get rid of the cravings. Which worked exactly as it was supposed to. The hardest part is being able to smack yourself in the forehead in the first place and realize your slipping up. I've had my share of losing and re-gaining...LOTS actually. I lost 100 pounds and then gained back about 60 before I even realized what the hell happened. I couldn't believe it...I was so mad...So now, as soon as I feel I'm slipping up, I almost get pissed off about the whole thing. When that smack in the forehead hits me, I usually step back from the fridge that I'm staring into trying to eat more food and say..."What the hell are you doing?...wanna start over again?"....that's about all it takes... This = determination for me. I've told myself I'm going to reach my goal this time and there's no going back...ever!

On a lighter note, I weighed in at the gym this morning.....DRUM ROLL...

I'm 151.... only one pound away from my goal now... swizeet....how's it going now...are you 'officially' back on track?

Yes I am back on track. I worked out this morning 60 minutes of elliptical and am staying on plan. I had one very sad thing happen today my son has a cat that he has had for 6 years that he had to put to sleep. He wanted me to go with him he is 28, just broke up with his girlfriend had to change jobs etc etc....and then this. It was tough to watch my son who is a pretty mans man so broken up. We stayed during the time that they put his cat called "Chunk" to sleep. There were tears all around. The only bright spot was we knew his cat was not suffering. It just seems things happen all at one time sometimes.

Anyway I am doing better but my cravings are definitely alive and well. I'll keep at though and I know they will go away.

well, I'm glad to share that even without thinking about it or working on it, I have reached my goal weight...got on the scale Sat. and I'm there...150.0 I've been so busy, I've been on like auto pilot with my diet, just going through the motions, been so busy...have not really thought about what I've been doing, just been doing it...I did good on the candy, only had a few small bite size pieces here and there, so I was actually shocked to see that official number finally.

So...now what?...maintain, or move my goal weight down 10 pounds...I'm doing a survey..what's everyone think?...I'm supposed to weigh around 120-130 I think, I'm 34 & 5' 6"...any suggestions?

My suggestion is going to be posed as a question. -- How do you feel? If you are happy at this weight, and apparently it is pretty easy for you to get to without much extra effort (auto-pilot as you put it), then maybe stay at this weight for a while. Enjoy it and see how you feel in a month. Lucky you! I can't wait until I can post something similar! And I say "lucky", but I'm sure it wasn't luck, but diligence. Good job!!
