| i'm down a pound! time to update the ticker to bring you up to speed i lost 7 lbs on phase one and have just been waiting for the next drop i gutted out quite a few temptations this weekend. Weekends are tough. a drop on the scales makes it worth it: hurdle one--husband's office party on Friday night, hurdle two: going to the movies with the kids I tried ricotta again last night for dessert. I'm not sure that will ever be my favorite. What i was really craving was carmel corn. just wanted to post my good news about losing a pound though | |||||||||||

| Way to go on another pound lost, Karen! Yeah, if you're going to compare ricotta with caramel corn, you're going to have a tough time with that! LOL! Letting go of those foods that are unhealthy for me has taken some work and will continue to rear it's ugly head in the future, I have no doubt, but I am really sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. I just remind myself of that now and turn immediately to other thoughts. If I try to have a long conversation with myself about having it (the junk) or not, eventually, I'm going to cave. So, I just don't go there for long at all. Keep going! | |||||||||||

I saw from your ticker you only have 1lb more left to lose than you have already lost!! I plan on trying some ricotta as a dessert myself. I have used it to make manicotti in the past, so I am unsure of how it can be a dessert Well, good job! Keep posting!! | ||||||||||

| This board is my mental support! I completely appreciate it. Slow loss may well describe me. But i'll take it! let's see, last night i put a half cup of ricotta, one pump of sugar free carmel syrup, one splenda and one teaspoon of vamilla it was okay thanks you guy | |||||||||||
