Default Peas in P2?

I'm confused about peas for Phase 2.... are garden/sweet peas okay?
The little round buggers.... It says "all beans" somewhere else I looked... are peas a bean?!

Also, what about cranberries? It says berries are ok, is this included? But I should stay away from craisins cos they have sugar, right?!

Oh and granola? You'd think by now I'd have the hang of this lol Just trying to not get bored with my meals..... Thanks for everyone's great help!

Peas are OK in P2. I'm still not sure whether they are a veggie or a starch though! (So in other words, not sure you should have peas and sweet potato in the same meal.)

cranberries are OK I think. Just would have to have no sugar added to them which leaves out most dried versions like craisins.

Surprisingly most commercial granolas are wither too high in sugar and/or too low in fiber. You would have to check the ingredients for all whole grains and the nutritional panel should show more than 5 gms of fiber per serving and sugars should be less than 8 gms per serving. You could probably come up with your own kind of combo with SB friendly ingredients.

according to the sb book I have peas are a starch and should be eaten as such (not a whole bag of them at once!)

yeah I think the supercharged book changed them a bit and they are now in both the veggies the category and the starches category, so really not sure what that means! But I probably wouldn't consider them an unlimited vegetable like most others. Maybe treat more like beans/legumes. 1/2 cup serving at a time, but you could have them more than once a day if you like?
