| So in the book I have and the things I have read durring phase two corn is an off limit product. However one of the cookbooks I have says popcorn is perfectly accecptable, and if its air popped then almost limitless. . . my first thought is wow that cant be right, my 2nd . . . come ask you all . . . does anyone eat popcorn? If so what do you put on it, how much do you eat at a time and do you count it as one of your grains for the day? Thanks all! Coug | ||||||||||

| yes it counts as a grain and you can have 3 cups popped as a serving of grains. Not sure I've ever heard that it can be unlimited. Corn as a flour or starch is an avoid or limited item, but popcorn is OK. 3 cups popped isn't all that much really and the glycemic load of it is probably pretty low overall. I don't eat it much though. | |||||||||||
