Yay! Okay, so I'm a little late in posting this, but I just wanted to say that I survived 4 weeks on phase one, and I've been in phase two for a little over a week now. As of this morning, I've officially lost 16.4 pounds!
I haven't been such a good little beach girl on phase two, but I have learned my lesson! A few days ago my mother and I were out looking at antiques, and we went at a bad time. We were there from morning through part of the afternoon, so I had to miss lunch. Our favorite Chinese food place is downtown across from the antique stores we were in, and we decided we just had to have Chinese. lol. I had beef and brocolli, which wasn't exactly beachy since there was probably sugar in the juice stuff (can't think of what it's called).. the broth or whatever... you know what I mean. lol.... and of course I had white rice. But, I ate the brocolli, so I got in some fiber I suppose. Well... then on the way home we decided we needed milkshakes from McDonalds. It's only about 5 minutes from our house, I could have survived until we got home and had some sugar-free Koolaid or some water or something instead... but no. To make it worse, instead of getting a small milkshake... we ordered large. I got home and couldn't finish it and I felt sooo sick. Never again will I do anything like that! Also, we found these amazing cookies at World Market, and my mom bought one. They're big, so we split it. Half of one is about 75 calories, so that's not so bad. I really don't feel guilty about that little indulgence.

Anyway, I've had steel-cut oats for breakfast two or three times since going on phase two, and sometimes for a snack I'll have a Wasa Multi Grain Crispbread cracker with some natural peanut butter on it. Don't worry, I know it says "multi grain" which is usually a bad sign, but on the ingredients list each flour listed has the word WHOLE in front of it. In fact, it says it's made with 100% Whole Grains! One cracker has 13g of whole grains and 2g of fiber. I think it's a pretty healthy cracker!!

They're not very good plain though... so if you're going to try them, I suggest putting peanut butter on them. lol.
Soo I guess that's it for now. Just wanted to stop in and talk a little since I haven't in a while. I hope everyone is doing well!!
