I lost 12 pounds on Phase one but I don't know what to eat on Phase two. I love milk with chocolate powder but I think that i over do it.

My typical day is

1 egg , bacon and 8 oz water
lunch

salad with two tablespoons on dressing ( ceasar salad) Kraft
shreeded cheese

the same in the afternoon but with a piece of chicken
8oz of yogurt

Hey Thincutie,

I totally understand what you mean! I was afraid to move into phase 2 as well and was terrified that I'd gain back everything! Hopefully you are more "in the swing" of it by now, but starting by adding back slowly worked for me. Well, I'm still kind of adding back slowly! lol At first I was really nervous before I'd eat some fruit or a wheat tortilla ~ like I was cheating or something! lol The weight is continuing to drop though (slow but steady) and I don't feel like I'm being deprived too much (well... except ice cream!)

Good luck and stick with it!

Hi Thincutie,

I think we were all a little apprehensive about P2. Think of P1 as a jump start out of the starting block and P2 as the journey to a healthy & happy lifestyle. Like losingit said, add the good carbs s-l-o-w-l-y and listen to your body.

Let us know how you do!

Probably the greatest common fear of all SB'ers!! But yeah it's the real weight loss phase where we learn how to eat well and healthily for the rest of our lives, so it really is a necessary step. There's a sticky topic in this forum about how to make the transition, although I think adding back 2 things per day for the first week is kind of fast actually. Anyway that topic is here: Adding back grains and fruits and might help.

Also not sure why you weren't drinking milk in P1? 2 cups of LF/NF milk and/or plain yogurt are not only allowed, but recommended every day in P1 along with some servings of beans as well to get good carbs in during P1. Your P1 menu looks a lot more like an Atkins menu than a SB menu. Be sure to check the meal model sticky topic too for a better understanding of how to structure a good SB daily menu with all the good carbs you are allowed and should be eating.

So whats funny about this is today I had a HUGE craving for vanilla ice cream with fresh berrys. . . a typical summer treat in the past . . . wishing they made vanilla pops (like fudge pops with out the fudge parts . . .)
Sigh I guess its better to be healthy then eating ice cream . . .

Oh, I know it! I am not really missing too much from my old diet (fast food, lots of bread and pasta, LOTS of sweets and chocolate, etc....) but I can't seem to get over the longing call of ice cream! My sweetie and I used to have a big bowl of ice cream almost every night (no wonder we've gained so much weight, huh?!) I'm trying new recipies from the "dessert" page on this forum though, so that always helps!

Good Luck!
