Look at you! You're one of the big girls now! WooHoo! We've been waiting for you.

I just don't understand why some people don't like whole wheat bread. I just love it! The more grains in it ...... the better I like it!

Hey Frenchie grown up SB'er! I used to think that whole wheat bread was boring too. Thought it tasted like cardboard. But you are in for a surprise girly girl. Now regular bread is the bread that is tasteless. And since you are beating your cravings now, you see that bread in general is not the most exciting part of your diet anymore. It's what we put ON the bread that has the flavor.

I absolutely cannot eat wraps anymore after eating on this diet. They taste like paper towels to me! Who wants to eat a paper towel? And I don't mean whole wheat, I mean ALL types of flour wraps.
But if you get a good quality whole grain bread with grains in it and toast it and put a little smart balance on it, then I think you will enjoy the bread itself!!!!

I am still having an absolute love affair with my whole wheat sourdough, cranberry walnut bread. I have a slice every morning and I float on a cloud while I am eating it!! I get that bread in a health food store.

But I like that you are seeing that the thing you *thought* you were missing so bad doesn't have control over you anymore! Woo Hoo!!!

Just experiment around a bit to see what you like and keep it healthy!!! Stay in the bread guidelines. Take that whole wheat bread and make homemade croutons out of them for salads. Sautee them in a bit of olive oil and garlic and salt them lightly. Toss that on your salad once they are cooled, with a low cal dressing and you'll LOVE it!!!!!!!
