Default SB Chocolate High Protein Cereal Bars

Just thought I mention that I tried the bars and find them really very good. Good flavor, crunch and no nasty after taste.

I'm using them as a snack for a change in the afternoon. It really helps avoid that famished feeling as I drive home from work. (1 hour and 15 minutes). So I try to be sure to have something otherwise by the time I get home I'm looking to climb into the fridge and camp out. :jester:

I like them, also. I actually found some at a discount place for 50 cents a bar and still in date!

Ok, I thought your supposed to eat good whole foods, like fruits, veges, and whole grains.

Well these bars you are talking about are totally processed, so how is that healthy?????????

Of course whole foods are always better, but I only use the bars occassionally and I have read the label - they're very high in protein 10G - from soy, low sodium - ok on fiber - 3 - 140 calories - 5g fat.

Luv2bike: What is your feeling about eating SBD products which are processed foods?

They are approved by the official SBD web site for occasional use.

I think it's up to each individual. Just like there are small amounts of bad things in Cool Whip. The SBD allows you to have it, but if you're not comfortable eating the product, then don't do it. I find that SB is a pretty flexible program. Sometimes they will tell you that a certain food isn't the best choice and leave it up to each person whether or not to eat it.

Just like it might not have been the best thing for Brownie to stay longer than 2 weeks on phase one, but she sounded determined and she exercises quite a bit and said that she would not going under 1200 calories. It's stressed in several threads that you shouldn't spend more time in phase 1 unless you've got a significate amount of weight to lose and the site says that you won't lose weight faster by staying there. But, it was ultimately her decision to make.
