Default One lesson learned hard way

I've been on SB for one month, haven't lost alot of weight, about 4 lbs...
But I feel so much better on this program...I'm able to keep my blood sugar, & emotions undercontrol....but, I ate some fried chicken today,:Bang: and I don't feel good.. eaten more fruit than I should, having a headache and also it seems that I want to eat everything in sight, but I Won't, also experiencing cravings that I've not felt in a month...so I've learned one thing...It's not worth it...I miss that good feeling of being in control that I had. I miss being on the SB eating schedule...3 meals & 2 snacks... So, should I start back on Ph.1 or start tomorrow on Ph.2? I want to get this "icky" feeling out of me...and start feeling good about myself....:cloud:

Hello!

How ya doin' now, Cats? I hope you found something to keep your mind off of those cravings and eating.

Normally I would say to carry on in phase two. But if you're having cravings, you might want to go back to phase one for a couple of days.

I think that in my case I'm always going to experience psychological cravings at different points. There are going to be times when I just want to eat every thing in the house. SB does help me control myself better than other plans, I must say. I don't think that any amount of going back to phase one is going to cure me of that. And I don't want to live in phase one anyway. I love phase two too much.

I'm going to leave it up to you, Catsmeow. Two - three days should get you back on the right track, but I don't want to see you spend more than that on phase one. Then re-read that sticky on how to reintroduce those phase two foods, as in ........ do it ......... s-l-o-w-l-y!

And watch that fruit!

This is such an amazing high !!!

I remember passing on a chance to meet with old friends because of my weight. I was miserable about it there was no way I could bring myself to see them.

That was a good 6 months ago and Ive since gained I guess 20-25 lbs more. Although Ive only lost some of those 20-25 lbs meaning Im still heavier than at that time, I feel 100 time better about myself and would be comfortable seeing them now.

It SO weird but true. Im still heavier but its the control (plus heading in the right direction).

Hooray for you, Cats! Great success, as well as lesson learned! Ain't that true, it just ain't worth it!

And I agree about that good feeling of being in control. As I get in control of my eating, I feel more in control of all my life. And it's wonderful.

I've had those experiences too, SUN. And I've also avoided seeing old friends because I was embarassed about my weight.

It's so much better to feel good about myself, and doing the SBD WOL is a big part of that! :Love Doctor:
