| Is there a significant difference between "corn syrup" and "high fructose corn syrup?" As an example, I'm looking at the Jennie-O lean smoked turkey sausage. After the main ingredients, it says that it contains "2% or less of corn syrup solids, etc." Is this better than if it had said "high fructose corn syrup?" Does it matter? Does the fact that it's in the "2% or less" section of the ingredients make it fairly insignificant anyway? Thanks. | ||||||||||

| I hope a mod can help you, but I myself wouldn't be too worried if it's only 2%. I'm pretty sure we are just worried about HFCS. I could be wrong though! It sounds to me like you are spending lots of time in supermarket deliberation! Good luck! | ||||||||||

| Corn syrup is like liquid sugar and high fructose corn syrup is much, much worse than that. It would a matter of choice whether or not to use the turkey sausage. | |||||||||||
