Are you physically hungry, physically craving, or psychologically wanting to snack? Remember, veggies & protein are unlimited.

Plus if its a sweet thing, those SF pop/dream/fudgesicles hit the spot.

With hunger, some lowfat Oscar Meyer shaved turkey or roast beef at 10 cal per slice is a quick fix for me.

Last night I was physically hungry... I haven't exercised in over a month! So between the exercise and eating normal portions... I was hungry!! But then part of me was just pyschologically wanting to snack... I ended up with shredded mozzarella cheese melted & cooked in the microwave... it worked for the hunger and then I dealt with the psychological part...

LOL...yes I just eat the melted cheese.... I put a thick layer on a plate, microwave for 2 minutes until the edges are brown... spin onto a fork, like eating spaghetti.... it's really good... works best with mozzarella....

I'll try the water & coffee next time! Thanks!

Are you eating a dessert/snack after dinner and still wanting a snack later? If so, how long after the dessert/snack are you munching? I'm just thinking it's psychological or just an old habit. Maybe you need to up your calorie intake a bit at other meals throughout the day ?

Low fat cheese is good but it's easy to overeat and SB doc says that is one of the foods that can lead to stalls.

Still, I don't think you are doing much harm with this though if you aren't eating really large portions of cheese.

Ok.... I paid attention to what was going on tonight and what I gound is that I have dinner... go for my 2 mile walk... come home starving, this is about 2 hours after dinner... I had a sf fudgesicle... then another one... the hunger was gone and so was the craving.... but then... I wanted to really snack... so out comes the cheese again... it's not a lot of cheese... about 1/4 cup.... so.. part of it is hunger and part of it is psychological... any suggestions...
