| Okay, I'm not a new member... I just haven't been here in a while. I went back on Phase 1 starting Jan. 2. Obviously, I have the whole "New Year's Resolution" going on (ha ha). I have done very, very well I think. I have had a few shaved carrots in salads (accidentally) but I am going to overlook it! Hey, I haven't had any sugar since Jan. 1!!! That is big for me. Even when I did SBD before, I would "bend" the rules and have my sugar in my coffee. So, I've felt like crap from cutting the sugar, but I'm very proud of myself. Anywho, I always "blow it" a few days into Phase 2. So, I've already been getting my shopping list ready and reading up on my SBD book. I've also checked out a few websites on the SBD. By the way, I read the thread on the Breads allowed on Phases 2 and 3- very helpful! I'm sure I can find a lot more helpful info on this site. I'll be checking it all out in the next week... before Phase 2. I do have a quick question, though- has anybody been to kraftfoods.com? They have a sample meal plan for all phases. The meals on Phase 2 look really good and very easy. So I was wondering if anyone had seen it... and if so, are the foods "allowed"? I'm a bit of a finicky eater (no hummus, no soybeans, no seafood) and my mother, whom I live with, is a vegetarian. So, if I find something quick and easy (with meat)- I have to jump on it! By the way, while I'm writing my whole novel here (ha ha), I have to ask- does anyone know if you can have Gator Tail? Of course it is not mentiong in the book. I haven't had it in years, but I love it. And we're off to St. Augustine in a few weeks and I found a restaraunt that serves it. I'd love to have it, but rest assured, if it's not allowed, I'm staying away from it!! Thanks!! | ||||||||||

| Gator tail? I assume that's alligator meat? I'd say go for it if you like it. It's not real fatty, is it? I'd watch that and how it's prepared. No sweet sauces or rubs. But it doesn't sound like you're going to be having this everyday. I'd say you can have something like that on special occasions. Enjoy yourself ....... just not TOO much! Oh yeah, Kraft makes a lot of the SBD products. I've been to that site, I'm sure, but it's been awhile. Last edited by luv2bike; 02-18-2007 at 06:30 PM. | |||||||||||
