Default Aloe Juice

Do any of you have a Trader Joes near you?

Well I have one and one day while shopping there I noticed something called Aloe Juice. I read the label and noticed that it has 1 gm carbs per serving so I bought a bottle.

I took a sip and YUCK ... it was discgusting.

Well I stuck with it as I had a whole gallon of it and took it in small servings

2-3 oz a day.

Well by the time I was at the end of the bottle I actually looked forward to my Aloe Juice fix.

I really swear by it. I think it makes me feel better.

Here is what the label claims it does for you ( and I agree with most of it )

Overall Health:
Helps support a healthy immune system as well as many other natural body functions. Great as part of a daily healthy maintenance regimen.
Gastrointestinal system:
Helps promote healthy digestion throughout the entire digestive tract including the esphagus, stomach, small intestings and colon.
Also helps restore and promote regularity
Muscle and joint support:
Helps support normal muscle, tissue and joint functions
Oral Hygene:
Helps maintain healthy gums mouth and throat envirnment. Just sip gargle and swallow.

I have found it definitely helps digestion and gives me more energy. Also I feel less moody when drinking this.

Anyway ... can someone else try this and tell me what they think. It is a bit expensive ( $8 for the gallon ) and at first tastes quite bad ... but you will get used to that bad taste quickly and it actually becomes like a refreshing lemonaide without all of that sugar or sweetner ... you will see .

Keep me posted.

Tom

If it tastes that bad, no way I'd force myself to drink something that tastes horrible just because it's good for me. If I didn't know of plenty of other healthy things to put in my body that actually taste good, maybe, and that's a huge mayge, I'd try it. If you're needing energy, might be some diet changes you need to make. Why drink something that tastes like crap?

I would tend to agree with you. But my point here is that I actually like it now. To me it tastes as good as a nice glass of lemonaide. It just took a little getting used to. Not only do I now like the taste but I can feel immediately better when I drink it. It really is incredible.

Tell you what ... try it out ... finish your first gallon ... if you honestly dont like it I will personally paypal you $10. ( Only the first person to take me up on this challenge ). I dont sell this stuff or anything like that. I recommend getting it from trader joes. You can find it elsewhere but it goes for more like $20 a gallon at other places. I have seen it distilled and tried it ... it tastes just like water when distilled but I didnt feel the immediate good feeling like I do when drinking the trader joes brand.

Default Aloe Juice

LOL That's quite an offer Tom. I doubt I'd be able to get past the initial yucky part, even if I did believe it eventually became tasty. Sorta sounds like Metamucil. In all honesty it's kinda yucky, but I've convinced myself it isn't so bad. If the Aloe Juice came in something other than a gallon size, then I might be convinced to try it. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see if anyone takes you up on your offer, and if they grow to love the stuff.
