| Will I be able to use salad dressings and marinades that have more than 3g of sugar in Phase 2 & 3? I have some dressings and marinades that have up to 6 or 7g of sugar per 2T, but are fat free or low fat - I don't want to have to throw them away | ||||||||||

| Just some suggestions I've come up with... #1 Prepare your salad a few minutes before hand...try putting just 1 TBSP of dressing on your salad...toss it together...and wait about 3-5 minutes before you eat it. You may find that 1 TBSP of dressing is more than enough. #2 I'm not sure what kind of dressings you have, but if your really into penny pinching, take 1 TBSP of your dressing and add something "ok" to it...like, lime juice, lemon juice, a little extra virgin olive oil...this will help equal out the sugar content. #3 Keep these (high sugar) dressings and use them as a marinade themselves...soak your chicken in them, your pork, your beef for a few hours....you can get a lot of flavor in your meat this way, but discard/wipe away the remaining dressing instead of drenching your food in it during cooking. Was I any help? I'm here if ya need more! T. | |||||||||||
