| All, Hello. ^_^ Just signed up... I'm 5'3", 185, 22 y/o, and roughtly 30% body fat. My goal weight is 145lbs and 15% body fat, or about a size 8-10 (I'm a 14-16 at the moment). I'm a big fan of Dance Dance Revolution for exercise, as well as yoga. I tried phase 1, but by the third day I encountered "induction flu"--dizziness, nausea, etc--bad enough that I had to stay home from school and work to recoup. Not good! I can't afford to stay home, academically or financially--I attend college full-time and work two jobs as well. I really want to make the lifestyle change to vegerarianism (ovo-lacto), but I'm finding that some foods work against my hypothyroidism (soy and cauliflower are two foods that negate my medicine--or so I read in Hypothyroidism for Dummies). What steps can I take to tailor the WoL to my needs? Does anyone else on here have hypothyroidism? What have you done? For now, though, I stick to eating small amounts of meat...
