not really! :lol: the rationale I have heard is that there is too little of it in those products to matter that much. make sure the whipped topping is the FF/SF one I think. Both of those products just have too many chemicals for my own personal preferences. Just because something is allowed, doesn't necessarily mean you have to use them!

I think they are there primarily to help make the plan "liveable". Nothing works long term if it is too restrictive to follow long term. So while not "ideal" solutions, they are likely the least problematic of the available options even if they might somewhat contradict other info on the basics of the program. And corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup are two different products.
