Talking Snack Foods for Busy Fingers

Hello everyone
I'm Gary. I'm 62 years young, 5'5" and I started SBD 10 days ago at 197.5 lbs.
I am currently down to 191-192 lbs. Seems to be going slower than I'd like in the weight-loss catagory, But I suppose it's better if I lose it slower (so I have often heard). I exercise on the treadmill three days a week and weights twice a week. On week-ends I have enough "honie-do's" to keep me fit:-) I have an office job that pretty much keeps me at a desk through the week. I do get up often and do short walks, stretches, etc.
My question is this: I used to munch on pretzels or potato sticks as kind of a "nervous food" while sitting at my computer, now. I don't have that. Is there a replacement "crunchy" snack, like nuts (but not so limited in quantity available to consume)? again I stress, I'm not "craving" junk food, just something to keep my fingers and teeth busy. Any ideas would help except vegetables. I eat tons of those already each day.

I'm looking forward to phase II as I would love to have a piece of bread (whole-wheat) with my breakfast once again. Wish me luck!

Hey welcome TX.,

Munchy stuff huh???? I know you said no veggies but really thats all the crunchy stuff that I can think of besides nuts..Some people do a special thing with chick peas but really that is not for me.. This is what I do, I take ff/cream cheese, and green olives and mix in a bowl spread it on some celery or dip carrot sticks in it ....Very yummy its a great busy finger snack .... I will look some stuff up for you...
