Default yummy nuts...

okay, so i'm passing up the breads and sugar. feels good. but i can't say no to the nuts. they shouldn't spike my blood sugar but almonds/cashews are my favorite binge food. and just a few add so many calories!! won't be losing weight today... thought i could keep them in the house...

Default It might be okay

According to the book I have, which is Dr. A.'s latest (South Beach Diet Supercharged) you can have 15 almonds a day or 15 cashews a day. There are different amounts listed of all the different nuts you can have every day (too long to list here or I'm too lazy right now!) Hopefully knowing this will make you feel a little better - maybe you didn't blow it as bad as you think you did. Oh, and the nuts should be dry roasted.

Talking mmm I love nuts

I totally hear ya about those nuts It is hard to just eat 15...Heck that just gets me started! And for that reason I decided to not buy any this week when I went to the store. I think I will just stick with p-butter for now. Sometimes I stir some sf maple flavored syrup in it and it goes further, It also makes me think I am getting more hehe. Its sooo good with apples too if you are in (phase 2 or 3)

You only get 2 tblsp of PB though! since SB friendly PB has only peanuts and salt as ingredients, it's really just peanuts in a spreadable format! you can also try putting a portion of nuts in individual baggies so you only eat what is allowed quantity wise. Of course, you still have to limit it to 1 bag!

You are so right about that p-butter RedRox...It can also be a diet killer if you are not careful. Not sure why, but I am good about not going over the limit with p-butter, Maybe it is because I always have another food with the p-butter and when I eat nuts I always eat them alone. DUH...why didn't I think of that before?
