Default South Beach Living Pizzas!!!

I know South Beach Living Foods have tasty pizzas like the traditional 4 cheese, pepperoni, grilled chicken and vegetables and deluxe. And they're only 340 calories per package, they're made for 1 person to enjoy.. Does anyone ever tried their Pizzas??

nope! I avoid all SB branded foods for a variety of reasons.

Remember they're for P2 though. No grains or fruits in P1!

Like Red, I prefer to avoid most processed foods. I guess I have a few trust issues with the companies that want to make money off me with "easy" foods. When I make it myself, I know what's in it...

Tried it...okay I guess...if your jonesin' for a pizza...I totally avoid those stupid products now...finally read the labels ... what is all that crap in there?... buy a SBD recipe book instead...one with a pizza recipe...mmm

I can make a homemade pizza (whole grain flour crust & low sugar pizza sauce) and put EXACTLY what I want on it....and....IT TASTES WAY BETTER THAN THAT CARDBOARD CRAP..actually, now that I remember my pizza, the store bought one pretty much sucked....I might have that for dinner...thanks for the idea!! I'll have to see if I can remember to bring in the recipe...

...if you've not had pizza in awhile, and your on phase 2, with not much time on your hands....eat one...try it...it won't kill your loss...Just promise you won't eat these pre-packaged 'SBD' foods everyday...they're not really that good for you...I've found some store brands are actually better...everything is better when you prepare it yourself!..I was, at one point...(long ago) eating a SBD 'snack bar' every day for my afternoon snack ...totally killed my weight loss and brought on all kinds of cravings for me...I think I even gained a pound that week...not good...but...everyone is different though...

see what works best for you...

I'm sorry to say that I did try it....once and never again as it was just not worth it.
I avoid all the SB Kraft foods....or any other food maker that puts the SB name on their foods. I shop the perimeters of my grocery store where the fresh foods live...not the aisles where its all highly processed boxed food.

So no bars, cookies, snack packs, pizzas or anything else they think up to stick the SB name on...I cook whole fresh foods and am very happy with my own cooking.

ps- your post sounds like a commercial!! LOL!!

I found some lavash bread. I think it's called Joseph's Lavash.

Ingredients: water, wheat gluten, corn starch, flax, oat fiber, whole wheat flour, oat bran, isolated soy protein, soy flour, soy oil, sesame flour, salt, sodium acid pyrophosphate, dextrose, sodium bicarbonate, calcium propionate, fumaric acid, potassium sorbate, monodigycerides, sucralose, sodium metabisulfite, yeast

1 serving = 7g Carbohydrate; 3g Dietary Fiber; 4g Net Carbs

I don't eat it a lot but when I'm hungry for a pizza I spread some homemade tomato sauce with some sauteed veggies and low-fat moz cheese on 1/2 a slice and bake it for 10 min in a 400 degree oven.

My guess is it would probably work the same with rice or whole wheat tortillas. Same concept

This is the best south beach pizza I've tasted here are the ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup grated low fat mozzarella
1 Italian sausage
8 mushrooms, sliced medium thin
1/2 medium white onion, sliced thin
Pizza sauce
Preheat oven to 425°.
This would really be great in a couple snack enjoy!!!

oh my you got kinda jumped on..lol...well you do know that fresh food is the best of course, i tried them, they are not that bad really...however..that being said...what in the name of all that is good is in it? i dont like not being able to say what is in my food.

your best bet is to make your own whole grain, low or no sugar pizza.

not saying to never eat something in a package, just keep in mind that South Beach while called a diet is about eating healthy food. now you look at the list of whats in that pizza box and let me know if that sounds healthy to you.

Find a good bakery, a farmers Market and a good butcher and man oh man you wont want food out of a cardboard box.
